Sutram 52:

Mookaswadhanavathu!

Mookaswadhanvathu = How can a mute person explain the sweetness of a Laddu!
Meaning: When a mute person consume sweets, after eating if you ask him to explain how sweet it was etc… he/she can only relish the taste of it than explain in words, likewise, when a true devotee get a chance to see God in person, he/she will lose the capacity to talk but to enjoy that occasion within forever. Therefore, God’s Premanandham can only be experienced not explainable in words.

Sutram 53:

Prakasyathe Kwaapi Paathre!

Prakasyathe = Expressed or Seen, Kwaapi = Somewhere or in someone or rarely, Paathre = Worthy person.

Meaning: Sage Narada says, such a deep devotion is rarely seen in some worthy person who has been consistently practising selfless divine duties. Though this compassionate love towards God and his creations are rare it is seen from time to time.

Sutram 54:

Gunarahitham Kaamanaarahitham Pathikshanavardhmaanam Sookshmatharam Anubhavaroopam!

Gunarahitham = Beyond fundamental qualities, Kaamanaarahitham = Above all desires and lust, Prathikshana-vardhmaanam = Growing intense movement by movement, Sookshmatharam = Most subtle, Anubhavaroopam = Experienced only by intuition.

Meaning: That compassionate love is beyond fundamental qualities and colours, it is selfless and beyond all types of desires, it keeps growing minute by minute, it is subtle to quantify or qualify and it is experienced by intuition and meditation. How, can one explain the beauty of this selfless love, only a few enjoy this unexplainable ecstasy. God also subtle and his blessings too subtle form, therefore it is an experience. Devotion influenced by Guna is not pure. Furthermore, Devotion and desires can’t live together. One important truth is revealed here that a person can get tired of the desired object after enjoying it whereas the devotion towards God will keep growing from one stage to another. Such love is an internal affair, therefore, no one can see except the devotee and his/her God

Narada Bakthi Suthram - Chapter 03 - BakthisAdhanAni:

Sutram 49:

Yo Vedanyapi Sanyasyathi Kevalam-Vichhinnanuragam Labhathe!

Yo = Whoever, Vedanyapi = Even the instruction of Vedas, Sanyasyathi = Renounces, Kevalam = Purest form of, Vichhinnanuragam = Uninterrupted deep love and devotion, Labhathe = Is achieved.

Meaning: Whoever the devotee who has uninterrupted innocent love and devotion towards God can even renounce the Vedas and its instructions. Here one important thing to note that in Vedas there are selfish, as well as public welfare rituals, are mentioned. The devotee should renounce selfish activities not otherwise. Those who received compassionate blessings from God will automatically be separated from conducting material actions. Those who want to come out of transmigration cycle must renounce all types of selfish actions without any exception.
Sutram 50:

Sa Tharathi Sa Tharathi, Sa Lokamsthaarayathi!

Sa = Such devotee, Tharathi = Escapes/Crosses, Lokamsthaarayathi = He takes other people also and crosses the Maya.

Meaning: Various Acharyaas recommended different types of method to overcome Maya and to merge with God. However, Sage Narada Rishi carefully selected the best among those convictions and presented to the welfare of all. Renouncing all types of sensual pleasure-giving acts and develop a strong determination to realize the God is what the ultimate approach for a true devotee. Those who surrendered to God and serve selfless actions without any expectations will attain Mokha (Liberation). Not only that, according to God, such devotees would purify the universe itself. Therefore, the benefit of pure devotion not only benefits the devotee but also the entire universe. Therefore, everyone should try to create pure devotees as a service to God.

Sutram 51:

Anirvachaneeyam Premaswaroopam!

Anirvachaneeyam = Unexplainable or Inexpressible, Premaswaroopam = The real form of pure devotion is or Nature of love.

Meaning: The purest form of love towards God is not expressible, one can only enjoy that taste and dive into the ocean of compassionate God love!

Narada Bakthi Suthram - Chapter 03 - BakthisAdhanAni:

Sutram 46:

Kastharathi Kastharathi Mayaam? Yah Sangam Thyajathi, Yo Mahaanubhaavam Sevathe, Nirmamo Bhavathy!

Kastharathi Kastharathi Mayaam? = Who is going to defend the shaft of Maya or whoever is able to overcome the Maya (illusory appearance), Yah = Whoever, Sangam = company, Thyajathi = Giving up, Yo = Whoever, Mahaanubhaavam = Wisemen or spiritually magnanimous soul, Sevathe = Serve, Nirmamo = Selfless, Bhavathy = Accomplishes or achieved.

Meaning: Sage Nada says! Who crosses, who crosses the illusory glamour of this universe (Maya) is the one who gives up attachments and him who becomes free from the idea of possession. To achieve this difficult attainable task, the aspirant/devotee must serve the Mahathma (spiritually magnanimous soul) and receive his/her teachings, blessings and advice.

Sutram 47:

Yo Vivikthasthanam Sevathe, Yo Lokabandha-Munmoolayathi, Nisthraigunyo Bhavathi, Yogakshemam Thyajathi.

Yo = Whoever, Vivikthasthanam = Identifies the place of solitude and naturally pure, Sevathe = Depend/Resorts, Yo = Whoever, Lokabandham = worldly bondage, Unmoolayathi = Cutdown or Renounce, Nisthraigunyo Bhavathi = Transcends the fundamental qualities of nature, Yogakshemam Thyajathi = He/She who gives up the ideas of acquisition and preservation.

Meaning: Sage Narada is providing more tips to overcome the Maya. He says the real aspirant who wants to get out of this Maya filled world must adopt certain habits in him/her. Firstly, identifying a place that is away from all wordy people and sacred for spiritual practices. In other words, it must be free from all evil influences. Secondly, cut off the relations from everyone. Thirdly, give up the fundamental qualities such as Raga and Dwesha (desires and anger) which promotes bondage and fourthly, give up the ideas of acquisition and preservation and finally surrender to God. An aspirant who follows these steps will surely protect himself/herself from the effects of Maya and merge in God.

Sutram 48:

Yah: Karmaphalam Thyajathi, Karmaani Sanyasyathi, Thatho Nirdwandho Bhavathi.

Yah: = whoever, Karmaphalam Thyajathi = renounce the rewards of action (Karma), Karmaani Sanyasyathi = giving up selfish duties and actions, Thatho Nirdwandho Bhavathi = such a person will overcome the pressure that gives good and bad activities.

Meaning: Narada Rishi recommends that to over the Maya the aspirant must adapt to certain fundamental shifts. That is the aspirant must give up all desires for the fruits of his/her actions whether good or bad, renounces all activities and thus passes beyond all pairs of opposites. Stay away from all actions that will destroy the search of Self. Either don't do any selfish action or if at all one has to perform an action and that may give him some rewards, which needs to be deposited to God itself so that the person even after doing a certain work that will be considered as no action. If expectations are there then there will be holy credits or demerits on his/her account; that will bind the person into the transmigration system. A devotee must do only the Karma that is prescribed by the Veda Sastra without any expectations. Never stop meditating on God and think about God!

Sutram 44:

Kama-Krodha-Moha-Smruthibrahmsa Bhudhinaasa Sarvanaasa Kaaranathwaath!


Kama = Sensual Pleasures, Krodha = Anger, Moha = Delusion, Smruthi-Bramhmsa = Loss of memory, Bhudhinaasa = Loss of intellect, Sarvanaasa = Utter ruin, Kaaranathwaath = It is the Cause.

Meaning: In fact, the Dursangam can prompt all types of bad qualities in human beings therefore it should be shunned without showing mercy. When a person thinks of sensual pleasures his/her mind will rush to achieve that, whereas, when he/she think of me (God) the devotee will reach to me. All great Rishis including Lord Krishna has recommended this to aspirants. As we know losing purity of anything is quick therefore, to protect that we will have to defend so many attackers produced by natural Maya.

Sutram 45:

Tharangayitha Apeeme Sangaath Samudraayanthe!


Tharangayitha = Just like waves of a sea, Apeeme = Though it may look like small waves, Sangaath = The company of ruined, Samudraayanthe = Finally it will become like an ocean. 

Meaning: Though these bad qualities, initially look like a small wave, but due to the bad company these small bad qualities will become like ocean dirt in our life. Therefore, the aspirant must be carefully chosen and accept things in life. Pleasure seeking habits are our inherited properties, therefore, controlling them is the main task of Sadhana (spiritual practice). Deva Rishi Narada is warming the aspirants that simply avoid bad company to protect oneself, based on his experience he says no one is exempted or immune to the threat of Kama Pasam (Sensual Thread).
