Rekha (luck lines) just below of Sahasra Padmam is Mooladhaara Chakram, 3. Little
(Kanishtika) finger represent Anahatha Chakram, 4. Ring (Anamika) finger
present Aagna Chakram, 5. Middle (Madhyama) finger representing Manipooraka
Chakram, 6. Index (Tharjama) finger representing Visuddhi Chakram and 7. Thumb (Angushta)
finger representing Swadhishtaana Chakram.
3121. Why are God and Goddess directly or indirectly
involved in the creation?
Ans. All living
beings especially Human Beings come across 3 deadly obstacles in life namely
Thaapa Thrayam (Aadhi Daiveekam, Aadhi Bhoutheekam and Aadi Adhyaathmikam) to
protect humans from their wrath or attack God and Goddesses incarnate as superhuman
being and stand as shield for their devotees. Moreover, God helps humans in
attain Moksham (liberation from life cycle). Therefore, God is always eligible
for our praising and gratitude.
3120. From where all Siva Temples receive their
Chaithanyam (divine presence or power)?
Ans. Chidambara
Nataraja Siva is the primary resource for all Siva Lingas to get Siva
Chaithanyam across world. Due to this truth, if any devotee visits Chidambaram
Temple and had Lord Siva’s darsan, the devotee will get the blessings of
visiting all Siva Temple’s of this Earth.
3119. What is the boundary of pure knowledge (suddha

3117. Usually, how Gods are worshiped systematically
from time immemorial?
Ans. 3 ways. 1. Kaaval
or Kula Daivam (family personal deity), 2. Laghu Daivam (small deities), 3. Brihath
Daivam (big deities including God’s incarnations). One thing needs to note that
the Supreme God will distribute our dues only in these ladders therefore, no
need to underestimate your own Kula Daivam or smallest deities. The Kula Daivam
will also act as the distributing channel of the Supreme God’s grace.
3116. What is the secret behind the concept of God (Sankalpam)
in various names and forms besides direct Avathaara Purushas (incarnation as
superhuman form)?
Ans. The concept of
God in various names and forms are the creation of humans without any doubt. However,
God himself penetrating through his/her Budhi (brain) to create names and forms
as we know God reach us through our brain and we reach God through devotion. God
gives his Darsan (reveal to the devotees) in 3 ways known as Roopam (form),
Aroopam (formless) and Roopaa-Roopam (mix of form and formless). The formless
(Aroopam) is revealed only to Maha Jnaanees (enlightened person or absolute
knower of truth) who are above name of form, the other two ways are revealed to
all other devotees. God can make devotees understand the way they want to know
the God (nothing is impossible to God).
3115. When Palaazhi Madhanam (churning Milky Ocean)
was conducted, how many items came from the process?
Ans. 69+1 = 70 items
came out. The 1 is Amrutham (Nectar or Ambrosia). Scientific way of
understanding is that expansion of Universe created many things that is
relevant for human beings to live comfortably.
3114. How Hindu temples were formed from ancient
days to today?
Ans. Temple is a proven
belief system for humans to find ever pervading truth in a consolidated place.
It had 4 stages viz. 1. Known as KAAVU, 2. KOVIL, 3. AMBALAM and 4. KSHETHRAM. Temples
are God’s residence where God resides as per the choice of devotees. It all
started with a Sankalpam (Persuasion or Determination or Conviction) that God
will reside in a temple and listen to the devotees’ supplications. How a human
has 9 gateways or holes in his/her body, likewise a full-fledged temple will
have 9 portions as a basic requirement. A temple is also a model or
representative of the vast space or Prakruthi. According to Lord Sri Krishna
the body itself is a temple and vice versa.
3113. How many countries were following Sanathana
Dharma 10,000 years ago?
Ans. The current
scientific study shows that 46 countries were practiced and existed. Recently
the excavators discovered Lord Siva Lingas in Turkey & Ukrain regions, carbon
dating revealed that it was 10,000+ years old. All different types of invaders
and selfish agenda cults were forcibly converted to different filthy belief
system that prevailing even today in Earth.
3112. How did the Bharatha Naatyam (Classical
Dance)?
Ans. There are 3
Matras that makes Bharata. In this context, first letter “Bha” stands for
Bhaavam, second letter "Ra” stands for Raagam and “Tha” stands for
Thaalam. This is how this dance got Bharatha. Naatyam means playing or dancing.
All Naatyams were composed or created by Lord Parameswara alone.
3111. Why do the devotees suffer especially at the
old age with many deceases & poverties etc. at the same time atheists or
disobedient people enjoy their life?
Ans. Prarabdham
(past deeds) is the cause for Sukha and Dukha (happiness and suffering) in
everyone’s life. Whereas the opinion of wisemen is more convincing such as this.
As the devotee reaches more closer to God his material life and comforts will be
an irritating or decrease at the same time increase the happiness in spiritual
life. When God decided to end a human’s transmigration
process, all the leftover Prarabdha Karma will raise together to vanish,
therefore the devotee will suffer everything together before end of this life instead
of slowly in different life. Although God will give full protection to his devotees
o face the challenges thrown by the Prarabhda (Fate), yet the Prarabdha Karma
must be undergone by every individual without any exception, the is the Law of
Karma. It all depends upon to the maturity of the devotee how he/she takes it
in real life. Whereas the non-devotees enjoy the material comfortable life
because they are far away from God’s spiritual network. To attain or realise
God, it may take many numbers of re-births for them and eventually everyone one
day or the other must know the God and merge in Him/Her gradually. This is the
law of life.
3110. Why Kaali Devi is in nude form?
Ans. Kaali Devi is nude
because is the purest in nature. She has no attachment to anything in this
universe. If someone is eagerly looking for real Samadhi, they should worship
Kaali Devi because the only fully independent divine personality. Please note
all divine forms are as per our Bhavam (desire to see God in a specific form).
God does not want to upset his devotee therefore, whichever form the devotee
call the God, he appears as per the devotee’s choice.
3109. God is choosing us, or we are choosing God.
Ans. God is choosing
us based on our past Karma not vice versa. If a Sadak (seecker/devotee) is
honest the God will come to him/her to accept them. There are many incidents
quoted in Purana and Ithihaasam.
3108. Why the Bhootha, Pretha and Pisacha are
looking for earthly living beings?
Ans. To get Pranik
Energy. They have lost almost maximum amount of Prana Sakthi ever since their
mortal body disappeared. Therefore, they are craving for living beings to enjoy
the remaining life. They adopt simply attach and live in human bodies. They
cannot easily get in to animals or plants though out of choice they may even
attack them.
3107. What are the two-support and disturbing system
received by the Humans in Earth Loka?
Ans. Earth is in the
middle of all worlds. Above and below Earth there are 7 Lokas (these worlds are
in Sookshma Roopam / subtle form) in each side above and below. The positive support
systems are sponsored or received from Gandharvaas that is coming from just above
the Earth. The negative disturbing systems are sponsored or received from
Asuraas. In other words, Gandharvaas makes heaven in Earth and Asuraas will
make hell in the Earth. Our primary connections are with 3 immediate words above
and below of Earth. Above Earth first Gandharva Loka followed up by Yaksha
& Kinnara Loka thereafter Deva Loka at the same time below Earth first Asuras
Loka followed below by Bhootha Loka thereafter Pisachaas Loka.
3106. What is Sakthi Upasana (Worship of Goddess divine
mother as Supreme consciousness or God or Brahman)?
Ans. Sakthi Upasana
is vast however, all Sakthi Upasana will come under 3+1=4 heads viz. Kaali, Thara,
Shodasi/Thripura Sundari and Bhuvaneswari. These Upasana (worship) is also
known as Dasa Maha Vidhyaa. Each Goddess name, colour, dress code, ornaments
etc will vary between North and South India followers. Sakthi worship is more
popular in East India and Southern region of Bharat. 1. Kaali, Black colour and
representing Thamass quality., 2. Thara Devi, White colour and representing Sathwa.,
3. Shodasi/Thripura Sundari, Red colour and representing Rajass quality and, 4.
Bhavaneswari, Multiple colours and representing all qualities as well as known
as Moola Prakruthi and mother of all 224 Bhuvanams (Galaxies).
3105. In real spiritual space is there any gender
split among God and Goddesses?
Ans. No is the
correct answer. The whole Universe is filled with Siva and Sakthi together as
an indivisible element. They are equal in every sense. Only a duality filled
person will see God as a female or male form. After realising this truth
ignorance will disappear and see Brahman has no gender base.
3104. What do you achieve by doing Anganyaasa and
Karanyaasa?
Ans. Anganyaasa
means purifying and restoring Upasana Moorthy’s divine presence in particular
Angaas (parts of the body) and Karanyaasa means touch the specific part of the
body and anchor the divinity over there through fingers, whereby the body will
become pure in all sense. According to Sanathana Hindu Philosophy before
initiating spiritual activities (Japa and Pooja) the devotee must assume the
presence of his/her Upasana Moorthy (personal God/Deity) in his/her material body.
By doing this the divine conductivity energy between Deity and Devotee will be
well established in subtle manner (Sookshma Roopam). As per Thantra Sastras
this practice is called Anganyaasam and Karanyaasam. It is a divine and
customary process to establish the relationship between God and Devotee whereby
achieve oneness. A full-fledged temple will have 9 portions like 9 holes in our
body. The assumption here is that the body is a Temple and the parts of the
body is Deities various forms. Our God’s presence is spread over galaxies therefore
the Devotee must feel the presence of God within him/her. What a beautiful
approach given to us by our ancestors.
3103. What are the duties or efforts to be put
forwarded by a spiritual seeker (Adhyatmika Sadhak)?
Ans. One must lift
upward from the existing material comfort zone (sensual activities called
Indriyathwam) and reach Atheendriyathwam state. The seeker must try with all
possible ways to purify Manass, enjoy the absoluteness and embrace blissful
consciousness (Bhodha Avastha). Such trial should be the seeker’s primary
objective as well as effort (Dharma).
3102. Do you think the Aathma will have any changes due
to its occupation in different Upaadhis?
Ans. In true sense
the Aathma is changeless. However, it is only an imagination and a false
understanding due to ignorance that Aathma is different from others. Aathma is
a constant potential energy element not a dynamic nature. Therefore, it has no damages
or afflictions or reactions or changes whatsoever even if it influences a Jada
Vasthu. It will have no Sajaatheeya Dosham (blemishes due to occupation or
influence). Kindly note the same Aathma will be known in different names due to
its conduct through Maaya Upaadhi. When it comes to contact with Vidhya Maya
Upaadi it will be known as Brahman and Easwaran. At the same time when in
contact with Avidhya Upaadi it will be known as Koodasthan (Self-Radiant) and Jeevan
(Life Energy). Please remember all these activities are taking place in
different Upaadhis but no changes in Aathma.
3101. Can you realize Aathma through Manass? Or is
it a self-revealing element?
Ans. NO, one cannot
recognize or known or realize Aathma through Manass. However, Manass is the
closest friend of Aathma therefore some portion can be realized. The only way
to know the existence of Aathma is by eradicating ignorance (Agjnaanam) and/or
once the ignorance disappears the Aathma will automatically shine, and its
existence can be felt.
3100. What is called Chith-roopam?
Ans. It is a Sakthi (power)
that is self-born, self-ignited, self-reflecting and thinking power. Whatever
Jada Vasthu (an inanimate article) gets in contact with this power it will also
get converted into an ignited article. This is the power that makes everything
organ works in the body throughout life. Chith Roopam is also known as Aathma
Chith-roopam or Sadh Roopam. In other words, Aathma activates Anaathma articles
however, one Aathma leaves the Anaathma Vasthu the later will lose brightness
or functions attached to its attributes.
3099. How can one stop the Jeevan taking new birth?
Ans. Once died the
Jeevathma must come back to Earth for further cleaning process. If a balance of
Karma exists, it has no choice other than taking birth according to its pending
list of desires. Therefore, Saints identified the route cause of Karma that
repeat transmigration. Accordingly, they have realized that by acquiring
Thathwa-Jnaanam (discriminative true knowledge) one can get rid of Karma and
once Karma gets over it won’t be requiring mortal body anymore. Kindly note
Karma and Sareem always co-exists in this Prakruthi. The phenomena are called
Pravaaha Roopena Asthi (like a flow of wind it always floats in this space). 8.4
million bodies (Sareeram) and innumerable Jeeva particles are already there in
our universe alone.
3098. What is Manass (Mind)?
Ans. A sum of
Chittha Vrutthis (activities of consumed ideas) is called Manass. In
Philosophical sense the Manass (Mind) is not physical brain, whereas Manass is
the seat of consciousness and the source of mental activities called Chittha
Vrutthi. This is one of the reasons in spiritual world Mind is not the right or
equal translation for Manass. Food that we eat through Dasa Indriyaas are the
main source and controller of Chittha Vrutthi. The Chittha Vrutthi includes a
set of cognitive faculties that includes Thought, Emotion, Perception, Will and
Memory. Unless the seeker gives up the Manass the aspirant won’t achieve
Nirvikalpa Samadi (known as Sayoojya Mukthi or Moksham). Manass get nutritions
from Ahamkaram (The Ego or I or Mine). Manass and Maaya (Mind/Illusion) are
always dynamic in motion, it cannot stay in one place. It is very difficult to
bind a Manass with devices however, mind has a habit of staying back in what it
liked. Therefore, we should always try to see good things, stay in positive
environment and enjoy the best things especially from spiritual fields so that
it will stay for some time in it. We should also inculcate the interest to start
liking positive things. By doing this practice regularly it will become a
habit. That is how great saints worked very hard to regulate the mind’s travel
plans. Breathing exercises, imagining divine portraits, chanting Mantras etc…
would help in achieving the task easily. Slowly the duration of stay will
increase and get into the path of meditation and finally achieve Samadhi.
3097. Which is the most disturbing thing for Manass
(Mind)?
Ans. Lacking peace
of mind called Asaanthi (opposite of saanthi). Saanthi (peace) alone is the
Moksham or Brahma-Aykhyam or Samthrupthi (Liberation, Merging with Brahman, and
Full satisfaction on everything).
3096. How many types of Truth (Sathyam) that validate
various creations?
Ans. There are 3
ways creations and sustenance take place based on these principles. They are 1.
Praathi Bhaasika Sathyam – (Whatever articles is made or created by the
living beings), 2. Vyaavahaarika Sathyam – (To sustain creation, God
creates lots of helping tools / properties for the welfare of living beings),
3. Paaramaarthika Sathyam – (Brahman alone the absolute truth. Therefore, even
for the God to create elements and articles it requires basic substances and
support system, that is being provided by Brahman itself). There are 2
types of Srushtis taking place viz. 1. Easwara Srushti, 2. Jeeva Srushti (God’s
creation and Humans/Living beings’ creation).
3095. Who is Aathma Jnaani and how to define this
Aathma Jnaanam?
Ans. When you detach
the afflicted or superimposed Pancha Kosaas’s effects on Aathma through self-analysis
known as exercise of Aathma Jnaanam (a conviction that “nothing can afflict
Aathma, it is independent and self-born without any external element’s contribution
it sustains of its own”). Upon understanding this truth, the only left-over
will be the Sachidananta Swaroopa Aathma (The Absolute Truth – Supreme
Cosmic Consciousness). Until such time it was a misunderstanding that
because of these 5 Sheaths (Annamaya, Praanamaya, Manomaya, Vignaanamaya and
Aandamaya Kosas) Aathma is sustaining or living etc; now after deeper discrimination
process it is understood that the reality is opposite. Whoever knows this truth
will be considered as Aathma Jnaani or Brahma Jnaani. In other words, whoever
possesses the true self-experienced knowledge will be considered as Aathma or
Brahma Jnaani.
3094. Who are the Kings of Karma and Jnaana
Indriyaas?
Ans. Praanan (Vital
life energy) is the King of Karmendriyaas (Gross 5 Physical Organs) and Manass
(the Mind) is the King of Jnaanendriyaas (Subtle 5 Sensory Organs).
3093. What is the Pramaanam (Proof or Substantial Reason)
in Spiritual Life?
Ans. According to
Aaptha Vachan (the person who realized the truth is known as Aapthan) the
Sruthi (Vedas) is the one and only Pramaanam.
3092. Who can know the Aathma through absolute realization?
Ans. The truth is
that NO ONE CAN KNOW THE AATHMA. We are (Jeevathma) only a portion of Aathma
therefore we can only realize a portion of Real Absolute Paramathma Brahman. However,
we can assume and realize to some extent that the absolute truth is truth
itself. As we go dive deep into finding the truth we won’t be able to withhold
our understandings and interpret as what we realized, unless the Brahman wants
you to return to the earthly realm with some memories! The Brahman must decide
how you need to know about It (Brahman is genderless, but for understanding
purpose we call Him or Her or God). Anyone can measure the universe in actual
sense? No, (not estimated as per the modern scientists which has no meaning to
a spiritual seeker!) likewise once you touch the boundary of Brahman (the
supreme cosmic universal consciousness) we will lose our existence represented
by 35+1 = 36 elements except the “I” that too without any attributes (known as
merged or Sayoojya Praapthi), thereafter what is left to narrate what was seen
or realized? Whatever we know is already seen. Therefore, since our core
character is Anubhavam (an experience), we can to some extent realize that the
truth is only a divine experience. No third party can share or contribute the
experience to know the Aathma, it must be Self-Realized. The Vedic Saints’
opinions that there are 4+4 = 8 Pramanaas (Proof/Reason) to understand the
Aathma is 1. Prathyaksham, 2. Anumanaam, 3. Upamaanam, 4. Sabdham, 5. Arthaapatthi,
6. Sambavam, 7. Aytheehyam, 8. Anupa-Labdhi. A person must have knowledge and
experience on these Pramaanaas to realize the truth. Although all these are derived
from the Aathma itself yet they themselves hinder us to know the Aathma. For
example, smoke hide the fire and cloud obstruct the sun light, likewise. This
is the reason our understanding or realization will be still limited and an in-completed
task. In Vedic language the limited consciousness will keep saying to us that “Not
this…. Not this” (Na Yithi = Nethi means Not this!). Therefore 100% conclusion
is impossible and beyond words! However, Sanathana Philosophy does not stop
anyone from finding the ultimate truth through their own way. This is the
beauties, privilege and unique propaganda of Sanatha Dharma which no other
philosophy or religion is capable to declare the truth.
3091. How many ghats are popular and auspicious in Varanasi on the bank
of the River Ganga (Ganges)?
Ans. There are 64
ghats (Bathing facilities) that are popular between the two rivers known as Vara and Asi.
These 64 Ghaats are spread over approximately 5 Kilo Meter distance. Mani Karnika
Ghaat is very important. Here, 24-hour mortals were burned to ashes. According
to Smasana guard, the fire that is used for burning is more than 3000 years old. The
authorities are preserving the fine in a lamp that lit thousands of years ago.
3090. Why do the Aathma transform itself into a
Jeevathma state, and what happens?
Ans. To experience
its own creations as divine play. Aathma
is a pure Witness (Sakshi), whereas the Jeevathma (Anubhavam) is a pure Experience.
Aathma creates/produces/separates/reflects Jeevaathmas (consciousness) from its own
cosmic consciousness to experience the Bhogam with an element of Jeeva (Life
Energy). Since the Jeeva is a byproduct of Aathma, it is called Jeeva+Aathma = Jeevaathma.
Nothing can be consumed without a body, hence, it will create a body from its own
consciousness. Such Jeeva enters and gives its power through Anthakaranas (viz.
Manass, Budhi, Chitham & Ahamkaram) to activate the mortal body. To relish
Bhogam, it requires Thanu (body), Karana (organs), Bhuavana (world), Bhoga (matters).
By entering a mortal body, the Jeevathma is getting caught up in this physical
world (Earth) with a desire to consume various Bhoga Vasthu (consumption of items).
Due to this act, it will be known as Samsari (a person to experiences good and
bad events and does not know how to come out of this transmigration system) and
forgets its source of birth. The reality is that the Jeevathma (Consciousness) is
none other than the reflection of gross Aathma Chaithanya (Cosmic Supreme
Consciousness). Therefore, please don’t think that God is purposely putting the
Jeevathmas into this trap; on the contrary, God’s own portion is getting trapped in
his own divine play. Once born on this Earth, everyone will be abided by the grip
of earthly Maya Sakthi (Illusionary effects). In fact, to help Jeevathmaas to
overcome this situation, God created abundant pathways such as Veda
Patanam, Jnaana Yogam, Bakthi/Upasana Yogam, Karma Yogam, Raaja Yogam, Gita,
Naama Ucharanam, etc… The truth is, God has lost a portion of his own
consciousness, and somehow, He wants to get it back; that is why God is taking
so much effort and initiative in convincing human beings to return to their
origin (cosmic consciousness). Kindly note that other living beings are below human
standard, although the same consciousness is in every being, but at a different
level, enjoying the experiences belonging to each body. God alone made this rule
that only Human beings can get Moksham (Liberation), and others should strive
to get a Human birth. After getting Human birth/they can try for liberation through
one of the stipulated processes and return to their origin. After going through
all these good, bad, ups and downs, one day the Jeevathma will realise the truth
and get fully satisfied with various experiences (Anubhava Jnaanam). Thereafter, God
will grant Moksha Maargam (Pathway to attain/enlightenment) to the Jeevathma to
attain liberation. This is also known as the process of individual
consciousness merging into Cosmic Consciousness. The entire game is nothing,
but a Jeeva Chaithanya (Consciousness) will transform back to Aathma
Chaithanyam (Cosmic Consciousness) itself. This is the total story of
pre-birth, birth, death and merge as per Vedanta Philosophy. According to
Vedanta and many experienced saints, one should attain enlightenment while
living before giving up the mortal body. This means that liberation is possible
while living as well as post-death! This is the mercy of God (Brahman).
3089. Who is the Witness (Sakshi) in Vedanta Philosophy?
Ans. Aathma alone is
the undisputable Witness. The qualifications of a Sakshi should be a thing or
a person unattached to reactions or responses (Nir-Vikara) of an event; at the
same time, it should be non-changeable, stable and potential. It must be
impartial too. If we compare these qualities with Jeevathma, it has no such
qualities because the Jeevathma is only a state of experience according to
Vedanta. In other words, it does not exist, and it is only an experience. There
is nothing that exists in this Universe except Aathma (Paramathma); therefore, there
is no duality to differentiate and further explanation!
3088. How is a Jeevathma known in different names
based on its three states (Avastha Thrayam) and 3 activities (Thri Karanam)?
Ans. 1. Jagratha
Avastha – known as Viswan, Sthoola Sareeram and its Thri Karanam viz. Manass,
Vaak and Pravrutthi with the help of Ego and Body, 2. Swapna Avastha – known
as Thaijasan, Sookshma Sareeram and its Thri Karanam with a mix of Guna Dosha
through Manass, Vaak and Pravrutthi. Here, the consciousness is undergoing the good and bad experiences in the dream (as Guna
Dosha Abhimaani), 3. Sushuptha Avastha – known as Praagjnan, Kaarana Sareeram and
do Thri Karana Vyaapara Samaapthi (terminating all physical and mental
activities and goes into dissolution mode). Here too, the Jeevathma act as a
consciousness (as just an Abhimaani – simply witness the experience). In this
third stage, Jeevathma enjoys the pure Aanandam (the Jeevathma’s true character
- unexplainable joy and forgetting body, mind and bhudhi, there is none exists other
than “Me or I”. However, the minute this person wakes up immediately it will
leave its non-existent state and enter an existent state, whereby the awakened
person will say that I had the dream as well as a deep, happy sleep and went
into a deep darkness or brightness world, etc. At this stage, Jeevathma does not have
any activities, but the “I” exists as a Witness. There was no duality, only
Advaitham prevails!
3087. How to understand a subject or a thing around
us?
Ans. There are 3
ways suggested in both Spiritual as well as Material life. They are 1. Sruthi (hearing
and learning about it), 2. Yukthi (discriminate and analyse), 3. Anubhavam (experience
and understanding). These are the 3 ways of applying.
3086. What is the biggest fundamental difference between
Jeevaathma and Aathma (Paramathma)?
Ans. Jeevaathma
always experiences the events through its body and organs, whether it is small
or big, whereas Aathma is only witnessing the event without any type of
participation. Since Jeevaathma is experiencing everything, it will react to
the situations and show liking and disliking in that effect. In other words, taking
ownership of the event and becoming responsible for the rewards. Such an act
will lead to earning Punya and Paapam (Merits and Demerits). Due to this reason, the Jeevathma cannot be a Witness whereas the Aathma does not have any
involvement (interferences) and it stays as just a witness (Nir-Vikaaram). This
differentiates a Jeevathma and Aathma. You can connect to the wisemen saying God
is watching everything!
3085. How come Aathma can know everything, or do you
think Aathma knows everything?
Ans. Because a
portion (Amsam) of Aathma is there in everything, whether living or non-living
beings. Aathma only became and is becoming everything. Basically, it is a
transformation from one to another. Unless one is convinced about it, the doubts
can keep arising. At the same time, through other Upaadhis (devices or limbs or elements
or a thing) cannot be fully understood the Aathma because such Upaadhis are
only a portion of the Aathma. Therefore, a tiny portion of the Aathma element cannot
measure the fullness of the full Aathma.
3084. With whom (Upaadhi) can one compare or
comprehend Aathma?
Ans. Pure-hearted (Suddha
Manass) persons can only realise or understand Aathma. Among Bhoota elements, Manass is the closest to Aathma. The Manass (Mind) are 3 kinds based on their
qualities, viz. Sathwa Manass, Rajo Manass and Thamo Manass. Out of these, Rajo
Manass is highly fluctuating and very dynamic by nature, hence it won’t be helpful.
Thamass Manass is Thamasic, hence it has no use in identifying the absolute truth. Whereas
Sathwa Manass is pure and subtle by nature. Therefore, to know the subtle
Aathma, a subtle quality of Manass, will be useful and possible to realise Aathma.
3083. Can we qualify or measure Aathma?
Ans. May not be
possible because it is beyond explanation, no comparison will match, any
definition would limit its true nature and power, or it will be insufficient.
However, for learning and understanding purposes, we can define and derive a few facts
about Aathma. There are 4 primary facts. 1. It is Vilakshanan = Different from the 3
types of bodies (Sthoola, Sookshma & Kaarana), 2. It is a Witness when it
comes to Avastha Thrayam (Jagrath, Swapna and Sushuptha), 3. It is Vyathirikthan
= (Separated) from Pacha Kosaas (Annamaya, Pranamaya, Manomaya, Vigjnaanamaya
& Anandamaya = Sheaths), 4. In its form, it is simply a Sachidaananda
Swaroopan (Truth Consciousness Bliss).
3082. Who is the Moola Kaarana Gothra Kaaraka Rishi
or Kartha?
Ans. Kaasyapa Rishi
gave birth to all types of living beings on this Earth through his wives, namely
Adhithi, Dhithi, Danu and Manu. His Asramam was located close to the current
Caspian Sea, and later he moved to Kashmir and settled there. Of course, Rishis
have the power to transform themselves according to the cause and situation; therefore, you can see them anywhere, and they will have no attachment to any specific
place or object. Therefore, all Gothraas route is Kaasypa Maharshi only.
3081. Why is Brahmanan called Paarpanan in the Tamil
Language?
Ans. Paarpanan in
Tamil means a person knowingly taking an auspicious 2nd birth at the
time of Brahmopadesam and adopting Yathna-upaveetham (Yagna representing Lord
Maha Vishnu and Upanayanam means wearing). Therefore, he is called Paarpanan.
3080. Can the Aathma self-radiate by itself
(Swayam Prakaasam)?
Ans. Yes. Aathma is a
self-radiating element (Thatthvam) because of this reason Aathma gives its
radiance to all limbs or organs inside the body and makes them work as per their
given task. Our organs have quality, durability, intention, commitment,
responsibility and taking rest, etc. Due to this special nature, whatever
happens to the organs (Jada Sambandham), nothing will affect the Aathma. Since
Aathma is a Swayam Prakaasa Vasthu, it does not require or depend on anything
from non-radiant objects. Aathma is a giver, not a receiver.
3079. What is the use of Vedic Jnaanam (knowledge)?
Ans. Jnaanam (The true
knowledge) is a peculiar tool that differentiates the truth and untruth in a
discriminative manner. The reality is that whatever matters is being exposed or
revealed to us in this universe is an act of the cosmic power (exposure). Such
matters or objects are being revealed only because of the self-brilliance
act (Swayam Prakasa Sakthi). On account of exposure, the exposed may act or
respond or react, known as Vikaara Bedam, however, any such reflections or
reactions will not affect the power of self-brilliance across time and space.
Knowing this true principle is real Knowledge (Jnaanam). Therefore, to experience discrimination, power, and knowledge is a must.
3078. Can humans test God (Pareekshanam)? Do you
think God can be tricked by Humans?
Ans. Never. Even if I tried, it would be a bitter failure experience. Whereas if God decided to test
humans, surely, he/she will get caught up in His trap without fail. One should
not forget that God and Fate alone are controlling us, not otherwise. Therefore,
God gives strength to live as well as directs the brain according to His wish to
fulfil the objectives of birth. Birth is not random; it has a purpose to fulfil.
Fate knows how to get the work done through the body. The mortal body is on a rental basis, and the birth purpose won’t be spared for nothing.
3077. What is the average number of thought waves that pass through the Brain (Budhi) in a day?
Ans. In a mature
human being, on average, 70,000 thoughts get generated. Out of which 90% (63,000)
will be negative thoughts, and the remaining 10% (7,000) will be positive thoughts.
To get rid of these negative thoughts, there is only one solution that is
“Self-Realisation” whereby negative thoughts can be brought down or covert into a good thought. Chanting Mantras can also help a lot, and frequently
talking about positive things as well as getting convinced about positive things.
3076. What are the symptoms/indicators of Anaathma?
Ans. It is 1. Asatth
(perishable or changeable), 2. Jadam (no self-ignite), 3. Dukkam (it does not
know how to enjoy the happiness).
3075. How do you define the 3 qualities of Brahman?
Ans. The Brahman is
beyond quantifiable qualities; however, for understanding purposes, our Saints have
created 3 qualities to quantify the Brahman. Those three symptoms are 1. Sath (saaswath
= ever-living element), 2. Chitth (Swayam Prakasam = That which has
self-brilliance), 3. Aanandam (Anubhoothi – experiencing an unexplainable
happiness by knowing oneself). These are the 3 that mostly match or are comparable to
the characteristics of Brahman.
3074. Why do the Mahathmaas (great and enlightened
men) say that all of us are Ignorant (Agnaanis)?
Ans. Humans know only
a very little about the world, principles and its properties. We don’t know
many things when we compare them to what we know. Our knowledge is limited in many
fields. Therefore, we are to be called Ignorant.
3073. Why do you think the Aathma is entering or
accepting a mortal body?
Ans. Ajnaanam is the
main reason (ignorance) for all three Sareerams (Sthoola, Sookshma &
Kaarana Sareerams). Not only the human body, but also Jagath to get created, Ajnaanam is the cause.
3072. What is the Swaroopa Lakshanam?
Ans.
Swaroopam, indicating that it is its own form (self-born, self-revealed), is
called Aathma Vasthu. This Aathma Vasthu is always at the peak of everlasting happiness
(sachidaananda swaroopam), absolute truth and full of fullness. This state is
called Swaroopa Lakshanam.
3071. What is the Thadastha Lakshanam?
Ans.
Thadasthan means the Absolute Supreme Brahman (Paramaathma). A force that is
required for everything from planning, creation, to dissolution, without which
nothingness will prevail; that force (Aadhi Sakthi) is called Thadastha
Lakshnam.
3070. What is the definition of
Vyaavruthi Lakshnam?
Ans.
An act that carefully analyses, understands, discriminates and then rejects (Nethi…Nethi…
concept, since none of these are absolute truth) that all elements start
from Aakasa (space/ether) till Sareera Thrayam (Sthoola, Sookshma and Kaarana
bodies) is not the Aathma (Brahman); however, thereafter whatever is left over
(remaining) is to be considered as Aathma (Brahman); this concept is known as
Vyaavruthi (experienceable acts or matter).
3069. What are the four Lakshanas (symptoms
or indications) of an Aathma?
Ans.
1. I am different from Sthoola, Sookshma & Kaarana sareerams (Bodies) –
this is known as Vyaavruthi Lakshanam, 2. I am not Annamaya, Praanamaya,
Manomaya, Vignaanamaya and Aandamaya Kosam (Sheaths) – this is also known as Vyaavruthi Lakshanam, 3. I
am the Witness of Jagrath, Swapna and Sushuptha Avasthas – this is known as Thadastha Lakshnam, 4. I
am the Sath, Chith and Aanandam Swaroopam – this is known as Swaroopa Lakshanam. In
other words, I am not Vyavruthi Lakshanam but Thadastha and Swaroopa Lakshanam.
3068. What are the Vachyaartham and
Lakshyaartham of Thath and Thwam?
Ans.
Thath – Vachyaartham means =
Combination of Maya (Illusion), Maya Prathibhimbham (reflection
of illusion) and Maya Adhishtaana Brahamam (superimposed part and parcel of absolute truth) is the Vachyaartham of Thath, which
is dwaitham (duality) by nature.
Thath –
Lakshyaartham means
= Brahman alone
(Advaitham by nature).
Thwam – Vachyaartham, referring
to the combination of Avidhya (ignorance),
Avidhya Prathibhimbham
(reflection of ignorance) and Avidhya Adhisthaana Saakshi
Chaithanyam (part
and parcel of the power of witness and consciousness), is the Vachyaartham of
Thwam. Thwam Lakshyaartham indicates
that I am only a Saakshi (Witness), Kudasthan (Absolutely
Permanent Supreme Brahman) and Chaithanyam (Consciousness).
3067. Brahmanan of Vedanta philosophy
and the caste system are one and the same? If not, what is the difference between
them?
Ans.
According to the Vedanta school, a Brahmanan who always thinks that he is inseparable
from the all-pervading, infinite Brahman. He is always fully satisfied and
absolutely in nature. I am the Brahman, not the mortal body, I am enlightened and
lacking nothing, I am liberated, and I am perfect in my duty, etc, whoever thinks
this way and is supported by such experience will be called Brahmanan. On the
other hand, there is a Brahmanan who is born in an orthodox Brahmin family, who
will be called a Jaathi Brahmanan. Vedantic Brahmanan is enlightened and self-realised, whereas Jaathi Brahmanan is only by birthright.
3066. How does the pride differentiate
between Easwaran and Jeevan (Easwara Abhimaanam and Manushya Abhimaanam)?
Ans. Those Jeevas that
lives in a mortal body will always carry or under the influence of body
consciousness that promote pride (Ego) and Ahamkaram (Ego of Selfishness in
negative sense) in them, therefore, they will be always enveloped by the
influence of ignorance (Ajnaanam) and pride (Abhimaanam) which will create distance
from Godhood. However, Easwara, during the incarnation, out of compassion, welfare
of the living beings, and to implement the responsibilities of God or Goddess
create an artificial and temporary Deha Abhimaanam (body consciousness) in
them. Such a God’s Abhimaanam (Pride) is impermanent. This is
the fundamental difference between these two personalities when it
comes to Abhimaanam.
For Easwara, it is temporary, whereas for Manushya, it is a permanent affair. Those
men who come out of Abhimaanam will be enlightened, and they are called Muktaas
(liberated Aathmaas).
3065. From where can one gather the knowledge for
attaining Moksham?
Ans. Sathya Jnaanam
will come only by Aathma Vichaaram (careful discrimination and analysis about
Self). Such Jnaanam will not come by following Karma or Yoga, or Upasana, because
it is a Vasthu Tantra. Therefore, those who are seriously interested in achieving Moksham
(liberation or enlightenment) must get rid of all sorts of activities and
concentrate only on exercising Sravanam and Mananam (listening and grasping) to
discriminate Aathma and Anaathma. This is the unanimous declaration of Vedantic
philosophy.
3064. What are the features of Ajnaanam (Ignorance)?
Ans. Ajnaanam is eternal
(Anaadhi) and enigmatic (Anirvachaneeyam). No Thathwa sastraas, not even Veda, can fully explain the power of Ajnaanam. However, by gaining true knowledge
(Jnaanam), one can cross over it. Other than that, no force can kill or destroy Agnaanam.
It will have to die by itself.
3063. What is the source of Chittha Vruthis?
Ans. Abhimaanam
(Pride) is the only cause that creates all problems. This pride is the root
cause of enriching/nurturing Chittha Vruthis. Therefore, a good disciple must keep full control over Chittha Vruthis.
3062. What is Bandham and Moksham?
Ans. Chittha Vruthis
are 16. Out of these, 14 are Asudha Vruthis and 2 are Sudha Vruthis. By nature,
Manass is pure, but when it gets afflicted by the 14 types of Chittha Vruthis,
the Manass will get spoiled, and it will fall into the pit of Bandham (Bondage).
At the same time, if the Manass did not fall in the clutch of Asudha Vruthis, it
will remain Sudha (pure); such a state is called Moksham. To ensure Moksham, one
should make use of the last 2 Chittha Vruthis, such as Bakthi and Sradha.
3061. How does Jeevathma get into the cycle of Bandham and
Moksham?
Ans. As we all know
that Manass (Mind) is the cause for entangling in transmigration as well as
liberation. Chittha Vruthis are the only reason that bind the Jeevathma in
the Samsaram Bandham, as well as set free from the bondage. Therefore, Manass is
responsible for such a cause. Chittha Vruthis are the food for Manass to nature.
Therefore, one should try to reduce the activities of Manass and reduce them to
nothing by the end of life. Unfortunately, no one will know when the end of
life is therefore, one should capitalise every minute and work towards achieving
the goal. Such practice can eventually reduce the load on Manass.
3060. What are the 16 types of Raaga Dweshaadi Vrutthis?
Ans. It is a 14+2 =
16 types of activities a person can undergo through their mortal body that will drag
down the person from ascending towards higher divine realms. Out of these, 2 are
helpful for human beings to ascend upward. They are: 1. Raagam (Desires), 2. Dwesham
(Hatred), 3. Kaamam (Lust), 4. Krodham (Anger), 5. Lobham (Appetence), 6. Moham
(Foolishness), 7. Madham (Intoxication),
8. Maathsaryam (Chasing), 9. Eersha (Envy), 10. Asooya (Displeasure),
11. Dhambham (Deceit), 12. Dharpam (Shame), 13. Ahamkaram (Ego), 14. Icha (Wish), 15. Bakthi (Devotion), 16. Sraddha (Faith). These
14 are very bad, and the last 2 are good and supportive in achieving a higher level in
life.
3059. Who is becoming Videha Mukthan (A liberated)?
Ans. There are 4
types of Brahma-Jnaanis (enlightened
personalities) based on their divine experiences and authoritative convictions.
Such personalities are: 1. Brahmavith (Brahma Jnaani), 2. Brahma Vidwaran (Brihat
Brahma Jnaani), 3. Brahma Vidwareeyaan (Maha Brahma Jnaani), and 4. Brahma Vidhwarishtan
(Parama Brahma Jnaani). Among these, Brahma Vidhwarishtan alone is Videha
Mukthan. Living without any Vrutthis (activities). For such a person, domestic
mundane rules and regulations are not applicable. He is already freed from everything, including bodily acts.
3058. Who is Aathma?
Ans. Whenever we say
just Aathma means the sum of all Aathma called Paramathma, and when it resides
in the individual body, it will be known as Jeevathma for understanding purposes. An energy
(Thathva Chaithanyam ) that accepts, adopts, experiences and rejects, but its
original characteristics remain intact (Akhanda Aananda Swaroopam), such
effulgence energy is called Aathma.
3057. How does one get a sareeram (mortal body)?
Ans. When the
conjunction of Pancheekritha Bhoothas (segregated or refined 5 elements) and
Poorva Janma Sukrutham (Past birth karma deeds) takes place, the body will be granted
to the Jeevathma. Thereafter, first the body will be formed, then Aathma will
enter the body to rule.
3056. What are the Saadhanaas one should perform to
achieve the 4 types of Mukthi (liberation) according to Saiva Sidhantham?
Ans. Through 1. Charya
bestow Saalokhya Mukthi, 2. Kriya will bestow Sameepya Mukti, 3. Yoga will
provide Saroopya Mukthi and finally, 4. Jnaanam
will get Sayoojya Mukthi.
3055. Who does the Aathma undergo or experience the
sorrows?
Ans. When Aathma get
into a mortal body (will be known as Jeevathma), it experiences the pains and
sorrows attached to its activities along with the other 6 sicknesses as per Sareera
Dharmam. Therefore, when the Aathma leaves the body, it will go back to its
original status as Aananda Swaroopam, whereby it will start enjoying its original
state of Aanandam. Therefore, as far as Aathma is concerned, it is happy to
leave the body.
3054. What are the different states or names of a Jeeva
according to Vedantic Philosophy? And is the Jeevathma is true or only
imagination (Kalpitham)?
Ans. 1. Paaramaarthikam
(During Sushupthi Avastha/state), 2. Vyaavahaarikam (Jaagratha Avastha), 3. Praathibhaasikam
(Swapna Avastha). A Jeeva is named after due to its status for convenience's sake.
Jeevathma concept itself is an imagination (Kalpitham), not a real element, because there is one and only Aathma that exists, and the same Aathma is referred to with different names based on its Vruthi (Acts). Unfortunately, Humans cannot
be convinced without a name and form of a subject. Abhimaanam (Pride) is the
fundamental reason for differentiation. Originally,y Aathma is Akhanda Aananda
Swaroopam (infinite and indivisible), Rooparahitham (formless) and Adbhutham
(wonderful).
3053. How to differentiate between
Easwara and Jeeva (Paramathma and Jeevathma)?
Ans. The sum of everything (Smashti Upaadika Chaithanyam), whether
it is energy or matter, is called Easwra, and an individual or causal element (Vyashti Upaadika
Chaithanyam)
is called Jeevan. Jeeva conducts its activities within the Easwara network frame.
3052. Where is the greatness of
Bharat residing? What is the unique position of Bharat compared with all other
nations in the world?
Ans.
It resides in its Thathva Chinthana (Philosophical
Doctrines). Bharat’s Thathva Chinthana is unique and incomprehensible. Such
Thathva is ever ever-living element and it survives irrespective of the seasons or pressure. Those who try to understand it are better for them.
3051. What is called Sravanam or
Sruthi?
Ans.
Sruthi means Veda (absolute true knowledge), to understand the objectives and
concepts of such Veda’s the competent seeker must analyse through 7 Lingas
(subject matter or objects); such practice is called Sravanam. Those 7 Lingas
are 1. Srushti
(Creation), 2. Sthithi (Sustenance), 3. Pralayam (Dissolution),
4. Pravesam
(Re-entry), 5. Samyamanam (Self-control),
6. Thathva Padaartha
Parisodhana
(analysing and testifying the contents), 7. Phala Pratipaadhakam (Understanding
the Results).
3050. Who is a Jeevan Mukthan (the
one achieved independence from bondage and is freed from ignorance)?
Ans.
The one who is firmly convinced or believes that the Aathma has no duties/activities
nor responsibilities in any living being’s life is a Jeevan Mukthan. It is only
an unaffected witness without any type of emotion. Unnecessarily ignorant
people (Agnaanees) keep blaming Aathma for everything and misinterpret. This
is purely due to a lack of true knowledge. In other words, a person who realises through
spiritual practices and concludes that I am none other than the Brahman itself
(Aham Brahmaasmi) is also called Jeevan Mukthan. These are the 2 Vedantic Philosophies.
3049. What is Yoga Dhyaana Pooja (worship), and what is happening during such meditative worship in the three important Chakras?
Ans.
There are 7 important Chakras (energy centres) in our backbone in subtle form.
The Dhyana Yogi (who does worship through meditation with involving physical
elements or upadhis) while performing his Dhyana worship at Manipooraka Chakra he/she
does Havan (Homa) offer
all items that comes in his/her mind., in Anahatha Chakra he/she
should conduct worship with various offerings and then at Agnaa Chakra he/she
should do Dhyaana
(Meditation) of his/her Upasana Moorthy (Personal God).
3048. What is the source of Easwara
element (Thathvam) that reveals
or sources himself
to the deserved?
Ans. Easwara has no
birth or death; however, it gets revealed from creation to
creation. It always exists even
in the absence of space and time. However, our compassion and, if necessary, it reveals itself to the
devoted and deserving person as per the choice (with or without form and
gender – let me ask you what is not possible for God?) of the caller. Moola
Prakruthi Herself showered her grace for the evolution (Parinaamam) at the time
of Her first creation of the universal setup. The strategy is one becoming
multiple for the purpose of administration. At the very first, she creates the three
most powerful elements viz. Maya, Avidhya and Thamas. She assimilates the
matured Jeevathmas as per their Karma deeds to undergo the Karma deeds (Bhogam).
Maya itself is a Suddha Thathvam (Absolute Pure). Whereas the ever-existing Brahma
Chaithanyam reflects on Maya to create the Easwara Thathvam. This
Easwara is Avyakrutham (formless) and Antharyaami (indivisible subtle hidden force).
Such an invisible Easwara is the one who creates Prapancha or Prakruthi (Nature). We
and all things around us are part of Prakruthi. Earth itself is only a part of
it.
3047. What is the constitution of Moola Prakruthi
(Primordial Pure Nature)?
Ans. A combination
of Sathwa, Rajas and Thamas qualities @ 33.33% equally makes Moola Prakruthi. Moola
Prakruthi is constant, and it always stays in this formula, whereas Prakruthi is a dynamic nature and varies its quality, i.e. some qualities will be more and some
will be less. Therefore, whichever is higher in percentage, we call that quality the dominating quality.
3046. What will be the offering of Iha (this life) and
Para (post-life) world (Lokam)?
Ans. Iha Lokam is
under the influence of Karma Chittham, and Para Loka is under the influence of Punya
Chittham. This means that the person’s past karma deeds will be rewarded in
this life, and those who do holy deeds (Punya Karma) in this life can be
better off in their celestial life.
3045. What is required to attain liberation (Moksham)?
Ans. Brahma Jnaanam
alone is required to attain Moksham, without which Sayoojyam (merging with
Brahman) is out of question.
3044. What are the seven primary sorrows of an exposed Jeevathma
(occupied in the body)?
Ans. 1. Dukkam
(Sorrows), 2. Jananam (Birth), 3. Karma (Actions), 4. Raga-Dwesham (Desires and
Hatred), 5. Abhimanam (Pride), 6. Avivekam (Non-discrimination), 7. Agjnaanam
(Ignorance). These 7 afflictions will envelope the Jeevathma once it occupies a
mortal body.
3043. Sorrow is a characteristic of Jeevathma?
Ans. NO. By nature,
the Jeevathma is always in
Ananda Swaroopa (absolute bliss). Whereas when it comes to occupying a mortal
body, it accepts the characteristics or duties of the living body and engages
itself to undergo the sorrows and pain of the respective body. Therefore, it is
not its inborn characteristics to undergo pain and sorrows. Out of Swaroopa's
acceptance, it fulfils the duties as prescribed by the creator. One Swaroopa
lost will go back to its original Ananda Swaroopa state. (Note: This is a
Vedantic principle, not a Vedic principle.)
3042. Which are the three important Sahasranamas of
Sanathana Dharma?
Ans. Sri Lalitha
Sahasranaama, composed by Goddesses Vasinyaadi Vaag Devis, 2. Sri Siva
Sahasranaama composed by Lord Sri Krishna, 3. Sri Vishnu Sahasranaama composed
by Sri Bhishmachaarya on the battlefield of the Mahabharat in front of Lord Sri
Krishna, last fine-tuned by Sri Veda Vyasa Maharishi. This is the reason among the
top 10 Sahasranaama that these three are prominent for Sanathanees.
3041. Who stops us from knowing the will of God?
Ans. MAYA. Maya
won’t allow us to know the will of God easily. Unreal will appear as real and
vice versa to confuse us. That is the power of God’s own Maya Sakthi. The
discrimination power is very important to overcome the tricks of Maya.
3040. When or at what stage will a person be able to see
that he/she is now closer to God?
Ans. The more you
rid yourself of Upadhis (devices and reasoning), the nearer you will feel the
presence of God.
3039. What is the difference between faith (Viswasam)
and experience (Anubhavam)?
Ans. Faith is untruth
(Asathyam), and Experience is truthful (Sathyam).
3038. Whose life is a waste or vain, even after getting
human life?
Ans. Vain is the
life of a person who does not take delight in the teachings of Vedanta and
drink the nectar of divine bliss.
3037. How easy is God realisation (Brahma
Sakshaathkaram)?
Ans. Realisation
absolutely depends on God’s grace. He is the decision maker to reveal
himself to his devotee; no one’s influence is necessary. A Guru may be needed
for the introduction and to cultivate faith in the heart of a devotee. Mere worship
and prayers alone do not help at all. Therefore, one should take refuge in God.
3036. What is the best and easiest way of worshipping
God?
Ans. Searching for God
is the easiest way. Have an essential faith that God exists. Through faith
alone, one can see God. Searching pathways are plenty, however, follow one path
or a seldom with firm conviction.
3035. What are the Matra (letters/syllables) that make
Pranava Mantra Om and its significators?
Ans. Akaram (First
Matra) - Red colour, Brahma Deva, Rig Veda and Jagratha Avastha, Ukaram (Second
Matra) – Blue colour, Vishnu Deva, Yajur Veda and Swapna Avastha, Makaram
(Third Matra) – White colour, Rudra Deva, Sama Veda and Sushupta Avastha, Um…
(Fourth Half Matra) – Multi colour, Sadasiva Purushan, Atharvana Veda and Sushupta
Avasatha.
3034. Why do they call Pranavam a Taraka Mantra?
Ans. Taraka means
the one who lifts or saves or rescues from the clutch of Maya (illusion or
ignorance) that ensures transmigration (birth, growth, death, & maya) for a
Jeevathma. Whereas Taraka Mantra will entangle the Jeevathma with Paramathma as
and when one chants Om (the Pranava mantra). This is the reason it is called the Taraka Mantra.
3033. What is the meaning of Pranavam (Omkara Primordial
Sound)?
Ans. An element or
force that leads all living beings to merge with the ultimate abode of
Paramathma (absolute truth) is Pranavam. It has 9 different names according to
its functions; however, the primary meaning is “Sthuthi”, which means praising the
glories of ultimate bliss.
3032. Who are the Devathas of the subtle Thri-Naadi in our body?
Ans. Eda Naadi (Nerve) is ruled by Lord Maha Vishnu and Moon Deva, Pingala Naadi is ruled by Lord Brahma and
Sun Deva, and Sushmna Naadi is ruled by Lord Rudran and Agni Deva.
3030. Why is Omkara
(Primordial Sound) considered as Purusha (Male)?
Ans. The definition of Purushan means Pooranan (the one who is ever
pervading across the universe), not only that the Purusha Sakthi is merged in
Desa (Space), Kaala (Time) and in Vasthus (Elements/Matter); therefore, Purusha
means Omkara and Omkara means Purusha.
3029. Lord Siva has how
many forms?
Ans. Though innumerable and whatever we are seeing everything is
his form only, yet 25 important forms (Roopa) are propagated by our great saints.
3028. What are the divisions
of Pranava Mantra?
Ans. 1. Para Pranavam- This is the seat of Lord Parameswara,
2. Apara Pranavam – From this, all moving and unmoving elements take birth.
Pranavam is an eternal primordial sound wave of the Universe. Likewise,
another set of Pranavams mentioned in the Vedas are 1. Smashti Pranavam
(Lord Siva himself), 2. Vyashti Pranavam (combined elements of Akaara,
Ukaara & Makaara sound waves).
3027. What are the 60
Thathvas (disciplines or elements)?
Ans. 1. Prithvi Thathvam consists of Hair, Bone, Skin, Flesh
and Nerves, 2. Jala Thathvam consists of Water, Blood, Semen, Brain and
Marrow, 3. Agni Thathvam consists of Food, Sleep, Fear, Laziness and
Intercourse, 4. Vaayu Thathvam consists of Running, Sitting, Lie-down,
Walking and Standing, 5. Aakaasa Thathvam consists of Lust, Anger, Greed,
Delusion, and Pride, 6. Vaak Thathvam consists of Speech (Vachanam), Going
(Gamanam), Charity (Dhanam), Throwing (Vissargam), and Enjoying (Aanandam), 7. Dasa
Vaayus includes Pranan, Apaanan, Vyanan, Udhanan, Samanan, Nagan, Koorman,
Krikaran, Devadathan, Dhananjayan., 8. Dasa Naadies(10 Nevers) includes
Yida, Pingala, Sushumna, Gandhari, Atthi, Singuva, Alampuda, Purushan, Kuhu and

The answer is when a Jeevathma conducts lots of holy deeds in its previous
births, does Thapas (Meditation of Parama Jnaanam) and many other holy works,
it will get a chance to be born as a Human. Besides this, when this Jeevathma
lived to its fullness as per Dharmic life and left with no unfulfilled desires (fully
self-satisfied – Sumthrupthy), it will automatically get the desire for Moksha. When
these two qualifications are met, the 3rd condition will be fulfilled
as meeting an accomplished / attained / self-realised Guru (Satsang) by the
grace of God. Eventually, the person will experience Sanyasa life (giving up or
renounced attitude), and such a condition will lead to the Moksha (Self-realisation
