Vasinyadhi Vaag Devis further revealed about divine mother appears as Guru and shows the right path to her children for attaining liberation. She has abundant attributes (talents/qualities etc). She is also the mother of all beings as well as Lord Subramanian.
Guru is the biggest word itself. It stands for many superior meanings. Few are:
Gu = Darkness of Ignorance & Ru = The light that removes the darkness or ignorance
Gu = Sadh Vachakam & Ru = Gnaana Vachakam
According to Sakthi Upasana, the Guru, Mantra, Devatha and Sri Chakram are one the same. Seeing differences itself a big sin.
There is a multitude level of Gurus. I would like to give a few for knowledge purpose.
Aacharya, Guru, Manasa Guru, Mantra Guru, Maha Guru, Sadh Guru, Jagath Guru, Gnaana Guru, Dheeksha Guru, Mukthi Guru, Parama Guru, Parameshti Guru and Parathpara Guru.
Guru gives Ghnaanam, they are mainly Three categories: 1) Ghnaanam, 2) Apara Ghnaanam, 3) Para Ghnaanam.
A genuine Guru should have Three main qualities and/or credits in him/her. They are:
1) Thorough knowledge on the subject along with experience.
2) Compatibility and acceptance of his/her previous Gurus' vision, mission, conviction and verdicts.
3) Compassionately share the knowledge with all needy people.
She possesses a huge amount of Gunaas with the combination of Sathwa, Rajas and Thamas. Moreover, Guna is also carrying the meaning of Vyuham (Manifestation or Appearance) they are mainly nine (Kaala Vyuham, Kula Vyuham, Naama Vyuham, Ghnaana Vyuham, Sidhi Vyuham, Naadha Vyuham, Bindu Vyuham, Kalpa Vyuham and Jeeva Vyuham).
